About the Shadow Strategist
I’ve always been drawn to the hidden architecture behind human behaviour — the biology, psychology, and storylines that quietly shape the way we think, feel, and act.
My training in biology and psychology began as a way of understanding how organisms adapt, repair, and evolve. Over time, that curiosity widened into a bigger question:
How does a human life adapt, repair, and evolve?
My work has taken me through recruitment, coaching, education, and human development, giving me a front-row seat to transformation. I’ve watched people change not because they were given motivation, but because someone helped them understand the deeper pattern driving their choices.
Science gives me the structure.
Story gives me the meaning.
Psychology gives me the language for everything in between.
Outside of this work, I write science fantasy — not as an escape, but as another way of studying the same forces: identity, power, trauma, belonging, the parts of ourselves we exile and the ones we fight to reclaim. Fiction lets me explore human nature at the scale of myth. Coaching lets me explore it at the scale of a single life.
Both point to the same truth:
People change when they finally understand their own narrative — and when they stop fighting the parts of themselves they don’t yet know how to face.
As The Shadow Strategist, I bring those worlds together.
I use biology to map the system. I use psychology to illuminate the pattern. I use narrative to help you rewrite the parts of your story that have trapped your potential.
The result is a form of strategy that is precise, grounded, and deeply human — one that moves with both logic and soul, and one that turns self-understanding into a force you can actually use.
My Methodology
The Shadow Strategy Method is built on three interlocking principles:
1. Science of Systems
Grounded in neurophysiology and the study of living systems, this pillar examines how your mind and body interact under stress, challenge, and growth. We look at how your environment, routines, and internal feedback loops shape your energy, focus, and resilience — and how small, precise adjustments can unlock major shifts in performance.
2. Psychology of the Self
Drawing from behaviourism and humanism, this approach explores both what you do and why you do it. Behavioural patterns reveal the structures that guide your choices; humanistic principles remind us that beneath those patterns lies potential, agency, and meaning. Together, we translate awareness into action without losing authenticity.
3. Story as Transformation
Story is how the psyche digests and metabolises internal conflict and truth. Through guided narrative work, we explore the myths you’ve inherited, the identities you’ve outgrown, and the future story you’re ready to live. When story integrates with science and psychology, insight becomes embodiment — and change becomes sustainable.
This triad forms a framework that merges reflection with strategy, intellect with intuition, and vision with grounded action. It’s how I help people step out of confusion and into coherence — not by changing who they are, but by helping them remember.
